Bringing the garden inside

Do you take the time to bring flowers inside in the summer months?

My office side table.

Here are a few tips for making it easier to bring the beauty of your garden inside.

  1. have a few vases already set out in a designated space - not hiding in a hard to reach place.

  2. don’t feel bad about thinning things out in the garden when they need it. bring overflow inside. this is where the Black-eyed Susans above came from.

  3. if you don’t have enough flowers from your own garden find a local who does….my top 3 locals are below.

Or you could always plant more. That is the beauty of the rain this summer, we can keep planting and not worry about watering. I have room in my schedule so please reach out if you need anything at all - help with gardening, pruning, garden coaching, designing a new space, converting lawn to gardens….garden sitting while you are away : )
